Cyber crimes: Cyber crime is increasing continuously. Recently ‘Check Point Research’ had shared a report in which it was revealed that the weekly cyber crime in India has increased by 18% in the first quarter of this year as compared to last year. Cybercriminals are targeting people/organizations and governments in different ways. Whether you run an Android smartphone or an iPhone, scammers or hackers are targeting both types of users. Cyber expert US Sun has told about three such red flag messages which are usually being sent by cybercrime people to everyone. If you also get these messages, ignore them immediately because your bank account may be empty on replying.
These 3 messages from which you have to stay away
- The first red flag message is that scammers can send you any such message in which emergency can be said. For example, your child has met with an accident, your child has gone on a trip and needs money, etc.
- Second, hackers can trick you in any way and ask for your personal details. like bank number, OTP etc.
- Third and last, don’t accept messages or calls coming from unknown numbers, even if you have picked up, check the information the person in front is saying calmly and then take action.
If you receive any such message or call, ignore it immediately and also report it so that this does not happen to others. Keep in mind, hackers can go to any extent to trap you.
