Muzaffarabad Fort Pakistan: There are many historical buildings present in India. Of which the Red Fort located in Delhi is considered one of the historical heritage of India. Muzaffarabad Fort or Rutta Fort
This is the Red Fort in Muzaffarabad, located three hours away from Islamabad. This fort is also known as Muzaffarabad Fort and Rutta Fort. Actually, the Chak rulers started the construction of this fort to escape from the Mughals. The work of building the fort started in 1559, but it was captured by the Mughals in the year 1587, after which the work of building the fort started very slowly. Somehow, this fort was finally completed in the year 1646. Then there was the rule of Sultan Muzaffar Khan of the princely state of Bombay, Muzaffar Khan had settled Muzaffarabad.
Maharaja Gulab Singh got the reconstruction done
In the year 1846, when Maharaja Gulab Singh of Dogra dynasty was ruling here, the work of building this fort was started again. Till the year 1926, the army of Dogra dynasty used this fort. After that they left it and this fort became deserted.
This fort is in ruins
This fort of Pakistan is surrounded by Neelam river from three sides. The Pakistani government neglected it a lot, due to which it not only remained deserted, but also turned into ruins. In today’s time, this fort looks like a ruin.
