Reliance Jio World Record: Reliance Jio, the company of Asia’s richest businessman Mukesh Ambani, has created a new record by leaving behind the world’s big companies and has come at number 1.
The company has created a great record in terms of data consumption by beating Chinese companies and has surpassed 44 exabytes i.e. 4400 crore GB in data consumption.
Jio became the world’s number-1 company in this matter
Reliance Jio’s June quarter results have come out, according to which the data consumption on Jio network was more than 44 exabytes i.e. 4400 crore GB in the quarter. This is about 33 percent more than last year. This is the first time that the average data consumption on any telecom network in the country is more than 1 GB per day.
Reliance Jio has a customer base of 49 crores. Out of which 4 crores customers have joined Jio last year. At present, Jio 5G network is absolutely free, which means that there is no charge for using Jio 5G data.
The company announced quarterly results
Mukesh Ambani’s telecom company Reliance Jio announced its results for the April to June quarter on Friday and said that the total number of users of the company has reached about 49 crores. This includes 13 crore 5G users. Jio has become the largest operator of 5G services outside China.
Along with this, the gross revenue of Reliance Jio Platforms stood at Rs 34,548 crore in the first quarter. Which is 12.8 percent more than the first quarter of last year. The operational revenue of the company in the first quarter was Rs 29,449 crore, which is 12.8 percent more than the first quarter of the last financial year.
