Amit Shah Case: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy have got relief in the alleged Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violation case. The names of Amit Shah and Kishan Reddy have been removed from the charge sheet filed by the Mogalpura police of Telangana. The eighth additional chief metropolitan magistrate issued a notice to Congress leader G. Niranjan to appear in court on the 10th of this month.
In fact, based on a complaint filed by Congress leader G Niranjan Reddy, the Mughalpura police of Hiseranad had registered a case against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Amit Shah, Kishan Reddy and others at the Mughalpura police station on October 2. In which it was alleged that they violated the Election Commission’s order that political parties should not use minor children in election meetings and campaigns.
Congress had filed a complaint against Amit Shah
Congress had alleged that minor children were allegedly called on the stage and shown BJP’s election symbol during Amit Shah’s election rally held at Shali Banda Sudha Talkies in Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency on October 1. On the same day, the senior vice-president of the state Congress Committee and the chairman of the Election Commission Coordination Committee filed a complaint with the Election Commission in this regard.
Which leaders’ names were included in the complaint
in this matter Amit Shah Apart from him, the names of T Yaman Singh, senior BJP leader G Kishan Reddy and MLA T Raja Singh were also included. A case was registered under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code.
