The sky remained cloudy in Delhi on Wednesday (January 25) and the minimum temperature was 10.6 degrees Celsius, which was five notches above normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 19.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.

The Meteorological Department has attributed this to the lack of strong western disturbances in November and December.

There is a possibility of widespread rain and snowfall. At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places in the plains of North-West India. On January 29, heavy rain and snowfall at isolated places in Western Himalayan region and scattered hailstorm can be seen in Uttarakhand.
