Announcement is made after getting the approval of the President
After this list is prepared, it is sent to the President. From where these names are announced only after getting the seal of approval. This announcement is made on the eve of Republic Day. Let us tell you that bravery awards are declared twice a year, first on the occasion of Republic Day and second time on the occasion of Independence Day. The order of precedence of these awards is Param Vir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Veer Chakra and Shaurya Chakra.
This high gallantry award is given to the armed forces, paramilitary forces and police forces of India. In which Paramvir Chakra is the highest award given for bravery.
