Today the country is celebrating its 75th Republic Day. On this occasion, a grand parade is being organized on the duty path of India Gate. This time the theme of Republic Day was made keeping women at the center.
The tableaux in the Republic Day parade on the duty path captivated the people. The most special tableau of Uttar Pradesh was there. After the consecration of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya, the child form of Shri Ram Lalla was also seen in the tableau of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, Rapid Rail Model and BrahMos Missile were also included in this tableau. The tableau of Uttar Pradesh is based on the theme of developed India-rich heritage.

President Murmu hoisted the national flag from the salute platform on the path of duty. After this the national anthem was played and a 21-gun salute was given. After which the Republic Day parade started on the duty path. Army’s Mi-17 helicopters flypast the duty path in flag formation. Along with this, brave men awarded Param Vir Chakra and Ashok Chakra, the highest gallantry award of the Indian Army, marched on the path of duty.
At the same time, the Rocket Regiment of the Indian Army demonstrated Pinaka rocket weapons on the duty path. This regiment was led by Lieutenant Priyanka Sevda of 262 Field Regiment. Apart from this, the French military contingent marched on the path of duty. The French contingent included a music band and marching squad. This squad is part of the Second Infantry Regiment of the French Army.
Women are at the center of the tableau, parade and theme for this year’s Republic Day. Till now the parade has always started with the military band, but this time 100 women cultural artists from across the country started the parade with traditional instruments. This year, French President Emmanuel Macron has attended the Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest.
