Dial-112 police is constantly improving its response time. In the Dial-112 ranking released on Thursday, the district’s response time has come down to 7.30 minutes. On Wednesday, the response time was 7.39 minutes.
On receiving information, Dial 112 vehicles reach the spot and solve people’s problems. Now they are being made hi-tech. Along with this, their number is also being increased. So that crime can be curbed and criminals can be monitored. According to Atul Kumar Singh, in-charge of Dial-112, about 1.50 lakh problems come to the office every month.
Police tries to resolve 40 percent of the cases at the same time. The problems which cannot be resolved at that time are reported to the concerned police station. Emergency services like police, fire brigade, ambulance and SDRF can be availed from this number. Whenever someone contacts this number, the call is auto transferred to the concerned department from Lucknow head office itself.
