‘Gullak’ season 3 REVIEW: Season 3 of ‘Gullak’ is like a small savings capital left in the mind amid violence, uproar and obscenity on OTT platforms. That capital by which the social power to dream of being happy on small things remains with the struggle of life in our limited world. In the first season of Gullak, the middle class of non-metropolitan cities lived, struggled and enjoyed living between the expectations and reality. In the second season, trying to create humor with some disorientation, the power of the series makers seemed to be wasted, but in the third season, every message emerged clearly. The tight-knit Indian middle-class situation, full of life in a small house and full strength in the family, has been beautifully engraved.

able to capture memories
The fun of this series increases for those, who have enjoyed life in a small town except Delhi-Mumbai, amidst a working family. Where the houses may be small, but the doors are not closed for anyone. In such cities, you cannot lie to your neighbor about whether you have a gas cylinder in your house or not. The neighbor will not let you speak. People in these cities don’t hold back in enjoying your mental misery, but after a point, come down to help. When an old acquaintance comes, he has to leave his room. Many people do not have any other room at all. Therefore, handing over all the comfort to the guest, he does not hesitate to spend the night fighting mosquitoes on the terrace.

Affordable shooting, but artistic impact
Whether or not this series earns as much as other series which serve violence, espionage and obscenity, the producer has taken the same economy as the middle class in making it. It seems that if a separate set is left out on three to four occasions, then the whole story revolves around a room, a closet, courtyard and terrace of a house. So the cost of shooting here and there would not have been much. All the characters are from the first two series. Don’t know how much his acting has met the criteria of classicality or in other places, but he has been completely successful in getting into the character of the series. Jameel Khan, Harsh Mayer, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Gitanjali Kulkarni and Sunita have acted in such a way that you would feel that you must have seen such a character in your life sometime or the other.

Prophecy – Importance of Arakshwani
Sometimes the commentary done from behind the scenes in the series seemed unnecessary, but it has not spoiled the flavor of the series. Anyway, how can the middle class live without Akashvani and predictions.

short story of satisfaction
In this season, Mishra ji’s elder son is doing a job. MR stands for Medical Representative job. The same son who wanted to do something big through SSC. The dream could not come true. No problem. The joy of getting closer to the dream, if it is not completely true, does not diminish for the middle class. Mishra ji is happy that another salary account has been opened in the house. The son has a desire to indulge in luxury by buying shoes with suspension from his first salary. It is right too. For this class living hand to mouth even today buying shoes worth seven thousand is nothing less than a luxury.

This desire of luxury, like many dreams, could not be fulfilled. The speed-breakers of the situation do not allow the shoes with suspension to enter the courtyard. Shoes have to be sacrificed for the fees of the younger one. Yes, both father and mother have hesitation in asking for money from the salary of the son, for the fees of the younger one. This tussle has been shown very well. The younger one gets admission. But during practicals, he is expelled from the school for taking sugarcane juice in a test tube and giving it to the examiner to get the correct color of ‘Tritreson’.

Lord Satyanarayan was hailed, but the letter arrived
The story is of the middle class. The family belongs to Mishra ji. Then if the story of Satyanarayan was not there, there would have been incompleteness. The story becomes By the time it gets over, even the prasad is given to everyone except one or two. Pandit ji also gives blessings to remove obstacles. The sons also manage to get rid of science-maths through Pandit ji. Now waiting for the letter of suspension from the school of the younger son. But the story takes a strange turn and another letter arrives. Mishra ji has to be suspended for his insistence on not entering union politics. This shock brings heart attack. Yet the way this crisis has united the entire family is the life force of the urban middle class family of our country. The elder son runs barefoot to the hospital with his father unconscious of a heart attack, while the younger one goes to the hospital with slippers. In the hospital itself, he makes his elder brother wear slippers. In fact, the coronation of the middle class is like this – not by wearing a pug on the head, but by wearing slippers that protect the feet that bear the responsibility, from the thorns that come in the way.

marriage leader
The efforts of the makers of the series were successful in taking full responsibility for the change in the consciousness of the housewives who spend their lives in the chulhe chowk. Mishra ji’s wife asks Mishra ji, who is the leader in the marriage, to break the marriage. In fact, this woman, who decorates the house by burning her desires in the stove, had already seen the troubles of that girl who came from the village through the microscope of experience. Normally, the leader who gets married is directly shown breaking the marriage here, which is interesting.
Director Palash Vaswani deserves congratulations for weaving reality into the story of this series without crying out for poverty and hunger. Lighting and sound is good. The music also complements perfectly. Overall, it can be said that Gullak season three should be watched.
