A reward of 25 thousand was first placed on Dev Prakash Madhukar, the main accused in the incident and the one who took permission for the satsang held at Fullerai Mughalgarhi in Sikandrarao. Now that he has been arrested, the reward on him is 1 lakh.
In the Sikandrarao accident case, the process of reward on the main accused Dev Prakash Madhukar started from the bottom and went up to the top. On this, the SP at the district level first announced a reward of 25 thousand rupees. When the report came to the range level, a reward of 50 thousand was announced at the IG level. When its report went to the state headquarters, a reward of one lakh rupees was announced from there.
Dev Prakash Madhukar, carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh, arrested
On July 5, UP Police arrested the main accused Dev Prakash Madhukar late in the evening. Madhukar was arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police from the country’s capital Delhi. After the Hathras stampede, a reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced on the main accused Madhukar. Madhukar will appear in Hathras court on July 6.
The police have arrested seven people so far in the Hathras stampede case. On July 2, 121 devotees died in the stampede after the satsang of Suraj Pal alias Narayan Sakar Hari Bhole Baba in Fullerai Mughalgarhi village of Sikandarmau in Hathras. These included 112 women, 2 men, 6 boys and one girl.
All the bodies have been identified and the post-mortem process has been completed. A case has been registered in the matter under sections 105, 110, 126 (2), 223 and 238 of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier, six people have been arrested.

The main accused of the case and one lakh bounty on Devprakash Madhukar has been arrested by the Hathras police team. This arrest was made on the road in Delhi. No arrest has been made from the hospital. All other information will be shared after interrogation on Saturday.
