In which Rhea revealed that she had auditioned for Lal Singh Chaddha.
In Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, Aamir Khan told that he met Rhea for the first time during the audition of Lal Singh Chaddha. Rhea did not get that role but Aamir had messaged her praising her acting skills.
Aamir had messaged Riya
Aamir Khan liked Riya’s screen test but Kareena got the lead role. Later, Aamir messaged Riya, which surprised her. Riya said- ‘You sent me a message. Which was very surprising to me because I have auditioned for thousands of films but this has never happened to me. When you don’t get a film but the producer-director messages you saying- Sorry your audition was good but the truth is that we cannot move forward with you but you did well and I was shocked. I showed the message to my mother, father and everyone and said- Look, I am a good actor, Aamir Khan is saying that I am a good actor.’
Aamir said- ‘I think when you are struggling as an actor, because when I was new in the industry, I used to give a lot of auditions and got rejected everywhere. I understand that feeling. So I think if I have not got that role, then at least I should be told that I have not got that role. Otherwise I would have waited and wondered whether I will get that role or not. Then I would have come to know from the media that someone else has been cast.’
Let us tell you that after the death of Rhea’s boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, she had to face a lot. She was in jail for about 1 month. After that she got bail but due to this her life completely changed.
