Richa Chadha On Inter Religion Marriage: Bollywood actress Richa Chadha is pregnant and is going to welcome her first child very soon. The actress married actor Ali Fazal in the year 2020 and now after four years the couple is going to become parents. These days Richa is in the news for her character in the series ‘Heeramandi’ and meanwhile she has talked about her inter-religion marriage with Ali Fazal.
In an interview to Galatta India, Richa Chadha said, ‘If you stick to your choice and your family is with you and supporting you, then nothing else really matters. And as I said, a person is a human first and when you fall in love, there is no filter in what you are looking for. This is what happens when you fall in love.’
‘I didn’t want my family to know from the press…’
Richa Chadha further told how she and Ali Fazal did not come out to each other until they felt that now they could talk to their families about their relationship. She said- ‘I did not want my family to know from the press. You know that we also have a family. When I was ready to discuss this with my family at home, then I thought I will come out now.’
Richa-Ali tied the knot under Special Marriage Act
Let us tell you that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal belong to different religions. While Richa is Punjabi, Ali belongs to the Muslim community. Richa and Ali got married in 2020 under the Special Marriage Act. This was revealed by the actress herself while talking to News 18.
