RJD Leader Manoj Jha Raise the fee structure of Neet NTA in rajyasabha

Manoj Jha On NEET-NTA: RJD leader Manoj Jha often remains in the headlines due to his statements. Manoj Jha gave a speech in the Rajya Sabha on Friday (August 2). During the speech, he talked on many issues and targeted the central government. Let us tell you that even before this, on Thursday (August 1), Manoj Jha had a spat with Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh.

RJD leader Manoj Jha said at the beginning of his speech, ‘The proposal is of Abdullah sahab and this is not even someone else’s wedding, so his madness is for the issue, Abdullah is not mad in someone else’s wedding.’ After this, he also narrated the story of the elephant, bird and monkey in the House.

Told the story of elephant, bird and monkey

He said, ‘AK Rajan committee was set up by the Tamil Nadu government. That commission has made a very lovely picture in which an elephant, a bird and a monkey are seen. All three are being told that the competition is to climb a tree. I would like to say one thing in this context that earlier education used to be in the state list. After the 42nd amendment, many things happened but it almost went out of the hands of the states.’

Targeted NEET and NTA

He said, ‘There is a stubbornness in our country that in a few years, one-one-one, hey this country itself is diverse, unity in diversity. There is diversity of food, clothing, regions, religion and language here. Amidst this diversity, there should have been respect for diversity in our approach, which a concept like NEET, an institution like NTA, does not do proper justice to that concept.’

Also discussed on fee structure

Manoj Jha said, ‘The fee structure that we see in NEET. If you look at the data of caste survey of Bihar, where the income of about 35 percent of the people is six thousand rupees or less. In such a situation, where does this fee structure fit in? When the Supreme Court was being cited on these issues today, the Supreme Court has said a lot of things.’

He said, ‘The Supreme Court has said that the exam should not be held again on such a large scale but Patna and Hazaribagh have also been talked about. Godhra has also been discussed. The entire exam was compromised at one level. I say throw the National Testing Agency into the Arabian Ocean or the Bay of Bengal, the choice is yours.’
