Tight security arrangements have been made for the counting of votes for Aligarh and Hathras parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 4 at Dhanipur Mandi. Apart from the counting place, there will be strict police vigil at every corner outside. There will be a no traffic zone from Eta Chungi to Bauner Tiraha. All the roads leading to Dhanipur Mandi will be closed for the counting of votes and many routes will be changed.

Only officials, personnel, media persons, candidates and agents associated with the counting work will be allowed to move. Pass holders will have to cross the checking circle at various barriers to reach the market, only then they will be allowed to enter the counting place. SP Traffic Mukesh Chandra Uttam said that changes have been made in the traffic system regarding counting of votes.

1- Entry will be given to officers and employees on vote counting duty, candidates and vote counting agents, police and administrative vehicles going towards Dhanipur Mandi at Eta Chungi crossing. Apart from these, no other vehicle will be allowed to go towards Dhanipur Mandi.

2- The police station has been set up towards Eta Chungi before Gandhi Park. Vehicles of counting agents will be banned beyond this barrier. Only vehicles of counting duty personnel, police-administration and candidates will be allowed to go.

3- This barrier has been set up about 200 meters from Mandi Gate towards Ozone City Cut, Bauner. Entry of vehicles of counting agents towards Mandi will be restricted from this barrier. Only vehicles of officials associated with counting work, duty personnel and candidates will be allowed to go towards Mandi from this barrier.

4- This barrier has been set up from Ozone City Cut towards Bauner on GT Road. Only vehicles of officers and employees engaged in counting duty, candidates and counting agents will be allowed entry through this barrier.

5- This barrier has been installed at Bauner Tiraha. All types of heavy vehicles and road buses will be banned from this barrier. Vehicles of officers and employees on counting duty, candidates and counting agents will be allowed to enter from this barrier. Apart from these, other light and two wheeler vehicles will be allowed to enter. But these vehicles will not be able to go towards Mandi from Ozone City Cut Barrier. All these vehicles will be diverted from Ozone City Cut towards Ramghat Road.
