RSS Kolkata Rally: The Calcutta High Court allowed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to a rally in Bardhaman, West Bengal. The RSS rally is going to be held here on 16 February 2025, which was refused by the West Bengal Police to give permission. After this, the RSS approached the court. According to the report of the news agency PTI, the Calcutta High Court judge rejected the objection of the Bengal government and has given conditional permission to the RSS rally. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is also expected to attend this rally.

Rally allowed in low voice

The Calcutta High Court said that the rally should be taken out in a peaceful manner and the voice should be kept low. The Bengal Police refused to give permission, saying that the 10th examination conducted by the Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is currently underway and hence the use of loudspeakers is banned.

The judge said that the RSS rally is to be held on Sunday and the program will be only 1 hour and 15 minutes, so the court does not feel that it will inconvenience anyone. The court ordered the rally to be organized in a peaceful manner and keeping the voice low. After the rally here, Mohan Bhagwat will also meet regional RSS leaders, local workers and prominent people of Bardhaman and surrounding areas.

RSS aims to promote the spirit of nationalism
