Russian Citizen Dies In Odisha: A Russian tourist has died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Odisha’s Rayagada district. His friend was found dead two days ago. This information was given by the police on Sunday. He told that 65-year-old Pavel Anthome was found soaked in blood outside the hotel on Saturday.
Pavel’s co-traveller, Vladimir Bidenov, was found dead at the same hotel on 22 December. He was lying unconscious in his room on the first floor of the hotel and some empty liquor bottles were found near him. On being taken to the district hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

On Pavel’s death, a senior police officer said that it seems to be a case of suicide. He said, “Pavel was under stress due to the death of his friend.” According to the information received so far, Vladimir and Pavel had come from Russia to visit India. They had a group of 4 people. The whole group hired a guide to travel well. Had also taken with him. The guide’s name was Jitendra Singh. All of them along with Jitendra had checked in at the hotel in Raigad on Wednesday. Pavel was deeply saddened by the loss of his friend and went into depression. Looks like suicide.
