Russia Drone Attack on Ukraine: The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for a long time. Russia carried out a drone attack on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, on Friday night (March 5), in which 6 people died and 10 others were injured. This attack happened when people were sleeping in their homes. After the attack, there was screams all around. Information about the drone attack was given by the National Emergency Services and the City Mayor on Saturday (6 March).
According to the report of news agency AFP, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov has also given the number of dead and injured in the attack by the enemy country through a Telegram post. The Mayor claimed that Shevchenkivsky in the North area of the city was specifically targeted in this drone strike.
Mayor Terekhov also claimed that the drone with which Russia attacked was an Iran-made drone. At least 9 high-rise buildings, 3 dormitories and a petrol pump station were targeted in this attack.
Governor Oleg Sinegubov had confirmed the attack.
On the other hand, Regional Governor Oleg Sinegubov had earlier said in this matter that two people have died due to the attack in Shevchenkivsky. At the same time, the police confirmed the deaths and said that other 8 people were admitted to the hospital due to serious injuries in the drone attack.
Attack also took place in Mala Danilivka village of Kharkiv
Kharkiv Police claims that those injured in the attacks include two women aged 25 and 52 and six men aged 23 to 76. Apart from this, a separate attack also took place in Maala Danilivka, a village on the north-western outskirts of Kharkiv, but there was no news of any casualties.
Police released many pictures related to the attack
Many pictures have also been released by the police on Telegram. Fire was seen at many places in the civil area, including a high-rise apartment building. Officials have also claimed that several buildings including a residential block and a petrol station have been damaged in the Russian attack. This attack took place when the Ukrainian Air Force had alerted about the activation of several groups of Russian drones across the country.
