First of all, you have to collect some ingredients to make it. Like, one cup of sago, 1 liter of milk, sugar as per taste, half a teaspoon of cardamom powder, some strands of saffron, chopped dry fruits, you can prepare Sabudana Rabri using all these things.

Method of making Sabudana Rabri

To make Sabudana Rabri, soak the sago in water for 4 to 5 hours. Now boil the milk in a pan and heat it well, then add soaked sago to it and mix both well. If you want, you can grind the soaked sago in a mixer.

After this, add sugar as per taste to the mixture of milk and sago. Now boil the milk for a while. After this, add cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron to it. Now take out the sago rabri in a bowl and scatter dry fruits like cashews, almonds on top. 

Keep these things in mind 

While making sago rabri, it is important to keep some things in mind. Whenever you soak sago, wash it two to three times by changing the water properly. Keep stirring the milk continuously because many times the milk burns from the bottom. While making rabri, keep the amount of sugar low in the beginning, because when the milk boils, it starts becoming sweet. If you want, you can add Farali Doodh Masala to make the rabri more delicious.

Sabudana rabri is considered to be very beneficial for health along with being delicious. It has high fiber content, which improves digestion. It is considered a good source of calcium.
