DTO imposed fine on Block Development Officer’s car

It became expensive for the Block Development Officer of Saur Bazar block of Saharsa district to board a private vehicle bearing number plates of two states. In this case, the District Transport Officer has imposed a fine of Rs 45 thousand on the vehicle. This action has been taken by the DTO due to two different numbers, insurance failure and no reverse number.
According to the information, recently the vehicle bearing the name plate of Saur Bazar Block Development Officer had number plates of two different states on the front and rear. The matter became a topic of discussion after the video of this vehicle went viral and the news was published prominently. It is known that Amar Ujala had first published the news with the title ‘Bihar officer’s unique vehicle, Bihar is ahead and UP is behind’.
According to the information, the vehicle of the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Saur Bazar block of the district had the registration number of Bihar (BR 06 DT 8204) and above it the board of Bihar Government Administration Block Development Officer Saur Bazar Saharsa was installed. At the same time, the registration number of UP (UP 14 CJ 7708) was printed on the back. Only one vehicle and that too of an official, which has number plates from two different states. Its video went viral on social media.
