Sara Ali Khan also read it. After reading the letter, Sara called her father and gave this reaction.
Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan went to a chat show for the first time and that was Coffee with Karan. In Coffee with Karan, Saif revealed that he had written a letter to Amrita before marrying Kareena.
This was said in the letter
Saif told that there were a lot of good wishes in that note. Saif said- ‘When I was going to marry Kareena, for some reason, before going ahead, I wrote a note to Amrita, and I said, you know this is a new chapter starting, and we have our own history and everything.’ Saif further said that it was like best wishes for the future of both of them and then told how Sara had reacted to it.

Saif told that after the letter, he got a call from Sara. Sara told him on the phone- ‘You know I was going to come anyway but now I will come with a happy heart.’ Sara then told how Amrita Singh herself had prepared her for her father’s wedding.
