Salim Khan got death threats: Salman Khan’s father and script writer Salim Khan received a death threat on Wednesday morning (18 September). The incident happened when Salim Khan was out for his morning walk. During this time, a man and a woman riding a scooter threatened him in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi.
According to the police report, when Salim Khan was sitting on the promenade on Carter Road, a man came with a woman on a scooter and stopped near him. The man said to Salim Khan in a threatening tone, should I send Lawrence Bishnoi? The woman riding the scooter was wearing a burqa and had hidden her face.
Help came from the number plate of the scooter
Salim Khan immediately lodged a police complaint regarding the threat. A police officer at Bandra station said that Salim Khan could only recognize four numbers of the scooter’s number plate – 7444. However, this helped the police identify the accused.
Case registered against the accused
Bandra police have registered a case against the man and the woman under sections 353(2), 292 and 3(5) of the IPC for threatening Salim Khan. Sanjay Marathe, senior police inspector of Bandra police station, said, “We are trying to trace the couple through CCTV recordings, although we think it was a prank.”
Earlier firing took place outside Galaxy Apartments
Let us tell you that earlier in April, an attempt was made to scare Salman Khan by firing outside his Galaxy Apartment. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for this incident and the police arrested the accused.
