Salman Khan Murder Conspiracy Case: Navi Mumbai Police has arrested a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the alleged conspiracy to murder Bollywood actor Salman Khan. An official gave this information on Thursday.
The official said that the accused Sukha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh was caught by a team of Panvel Town Police (Navi Mumbai) from Panipat, Haryana on Wednesday. The officer said that Sukhbir had allegedly given contract to Bishnoi gang members to kill Khan.

He said that Sukhbir was in touch with his alleged master Dogar sitting in Pakistan. The officer said Singh, along with Bishnoi gang members, had planned to use weapons like AK-47, M16 and AK92 from Pakistan to carry out the alleged plot to kill Salman Khan.
Police said that he will be produced in the court after bringing him to Navi Mumbai. The official said that Navi Mumbai Police will also interrogate Sukhbir Singh in the murder case of Nationalist Congress Party leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui.
He told that on April 24 this year, Navi Mumbai Police had registered a case against 18 members of Bishnoi gang and others for conspiring to murder Salman Khan.
The arrests came after members of the Bishnoi gang opened fire outside Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar and Rohit Godhara are among those named as accused in the FIR, the officer said.

He told that in this case, Navi Mumbai Police had arrested five members of Bishnoi gang – Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap alias Nahvi, Gaurav Bhatia, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna, Rizwan Khan alias Javed and Deepak Hawa Singh alias John.
Following the arrest, in June the police claimed to have uncovered a conspiracy to target the actor while he was visiting his farmhouse near Panvel in Navi Mumbai.
During investigation, it was also revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra gang deployed around 60 to 70 members to conduct recce at Khan’s Bandra residence, Panvel farmhouse and film shooting locations and keep an eye on Khan’s activities. Was.
The official said, the accused persons were trying to use the minors as sharp shooters by using weapons brought from Pakistan. Khan had told police that he believed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had opened fire on his residence with the intention of killing him and his family members.
The actor’s statement is part of the charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police in a court here in connection with the incident. Khan had said that two unidentified persons had tried to enter his farmhouse near Panvel in January 2024 using fake identity.
Khan had told the police that in 2022, a threatening letter was found on a bench in front of his building, while in March 2023, he received a threat through email from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
