A middle-aged cyclist died after being crushed by a mini bus on Monday near Chaksalem village of Patori police station in Samastipur district of Bihar. The deceased has been identified as Arvind Sah, son of late Baleshwar Sah, resident of Asrafpur Supaul village of the police station area. Police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. There is chaos among the family members after the incident.

Awadh Kishore Sah, nephew of the deceased, told that his uncle was going on a bicycle to bring a gas cylinder. Meanwhile, near Chaksamel, a mini bus coming from Samastipur towards Patori crushed him, due to which he died on the spot. In protest against the incident, people also blocked the road for some time, causing trouble to the pedestrians. The police reached the spot and pacified the people and ended the road jam. Later the police also seized the bus.

It is being told that Arvind Sah used to sell tea leaves in the area, which helped his family survive. After his death, there is a problem of livelihood among the family members. He was the only earning person in the house.

Patori police station chief said that after receiving information about the incident, a police officer was sent to the spot. A middle-aged cyclist has died after being hit by a bus. The body has been seized and sent for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged regarding the incident. The vehicle has also been confiscated.
