Samsung and IIT Kanpur: Samsung India’s Research and Development Center based in Noida has signed a deal (MoU) with IIT Kanpur to conduct joint research in several areas. Samsung engineers will work closely with IIT Kanpur students and professors in the areas of AI, cloud computing, health and other emerging technologies.

Samsung says that this process will help the students of IIT Kanpur to move ahead in their field and get prepared for it. The MoU was signed by Mr. Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director of Samsung R&D in India and several professors from IIT Kanpur, including Professor Tarun Gupta, Professor S Ganesh, Professor Sandeep Verma, Professor Tushar Sandhan and many others. Is.

Students will get job opportunities

Students and employees of IIT Kanpur will also get an opportunity to publish a joint research paper with Samsung. The institute will also organize special training programs. IIT Kanpur will also provide certificates in various fields to both students and Samsung engineers. This will also help IIT Kanpur students to get direct job opportunities in the R&D wing of Samsung.

At present, Samsung has more than 10,000 employees available for its research and development in India. The company has two major research centres, one in Noida and the other in Bengaluru. Samsung’s new partnership with IIT Kanpur is part of the company’s long-term plan to expand its research and development in India.
