The Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2023 started grandly on Sunday at the Sukhdev Pehalwan Sports Stadium in Azamgarh. BJP MP Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua and DM Vishal Bhardwaj inaugurated the competition by lighting the torch.
500 players have registered themselves to participate in the MP Sports Festival. Players in the age group of 20 years belonging to some 11 types of sports are participating in this competition.

This competition will run till June 7. Which can be concluded by Sports Minister Anurag Thakur with prize distribution. Along with this, MP Manoj Tiwari, Ravikishan and Minister of State for Sports Girishchandra Yadav will also be involved. The competition got off to a colorful start on Sunday. With this the games began. Member of Parliament Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua said that it is the effort of the government to bring out the hidden talents at the village level and provide them a platform. For this, this competition is being organized. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that we have organized this competition with the resolution of this slogan that India will move ahead. It is our effort that the sports talents of the district should flourish and increase the value of the district on the world stage. BJP District Vice President Ajay Singh, Santosh Srivastava, Vineet Singh Rishu, Monu Vishwakarma etc were present on this occasion.
