Fire in Saudi Airlines: A Saudi Airlines plane caught fire while landing at Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar on Thursday. The plane was coming to Peshawar from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. There were about 300 people on board. All the passengers were evacuated safely in time. According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority, when the Saudi Airlines flight was landing, the air traffic controllers saw smoke and sparks coming out from the left side of the plane.
According to a report by Dawn, as soon as the information about the fire was received, the pilots were alerted first. After this, the fire brigade and rescue service were informed. According to the report, the fire brigade controlled the flames coming out of the plane in time, due to which the plane was saved from a major accident. There were 276 passengers and 21 crew members in the plane, all of whom were safely evacuated through the emergency slide.

During this time, while moving in a loop near the runway, smoke started coming out of the left landing gear of the plane and flames started rising.
