The Meteorological Department says that dense fog may also occur in some parts of Saudi, which will reduce visibility.
According to Arab News, the first rain of the season was recorded in the capital Riyadh on Tuesday (January 7). At the same time, Civil Defense has advised people to stay away from flooded low-lying areas and valleys.
NCM Expressed the possibility of temperature falling
According to NCM, the temperature in the northern areas of Saudi Arabia is likely to fall in the coming days. There is a possibility of dust storm in Riyadh, Qasim, Eastern Region and Jazan areas. NCM said, “The winds over the Red Sea will be in the northern and central parts, from north-eastern to northern and southern parts and from the south-eastern part to south-westerly. Which will run at a speed of 20-50 kilometers per hour. “This can cause waves of more than one and a half to two meters.”

Officials keep an eye on bad weather in the country
