Somnath Jyotirlinga – Somnath Jyotirlinga located in Veraval port of Saurashtra region of Gujarat holds the first place among the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is said about this temple that it was built by Chandra Dev himself.
Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga – Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga located in Andhra Pradesh is also known as Kailash of South India. Here both Shiva and Shakti are seated in the Shivalinga.
