On Sunday, DM Vijay Prakash Meena, District Council Chairperson Manju Devi and SP Sandeep Singh jointly inaugurated the State Shravani Fair at Singheshwar Sthan in Madhepura by cutting the ribbon.

DM Vijay Prakash Meena said in his address that efforts are being made to declare the entire area of ​​Singheshwar as a tourist area. The old Dharamshala will be demolished and a new Dharamshala will be constructed. More development will take place till Singheshwar Mahotsav.

The DM said that instead of finding faults, everyone should come together and cooperate in the development of Singheshwar Sthan. He said that this time better arrangements have been made for the convenience of the devotees. Barricading has been done in the temple premises to control the crowd. Arrangements for toilets, water and bathrooms etc. have been made for the devotees. He said that devotees from places like Sultanganj, Bhagalpur and Nepal etc. will come here for Jalabhishek. For this, nine-ten places have been marked on the way and arrangements for pandals have been made. Where there will be arrangements for toilets, water and light etc. Where the devotees can stop and rest.

Meanwhile, SP Sandeep Singh said that in view of Shravani Mela, strong security arrangements have been made. A control room has been set up in the temple premises. Earlier on Saturday, DIG Manoj Kumar also reached Singheshwar to take stock of the preparations for the state Shravani Mela. He took a tour of the entire temple premises along with SP Sandeep Singh and SDM cum Temple Trust Committee Secretary Santosh Kumar. Both the officials informed the DIG about the route of the devotees. The DIG himself entered through the eastern gate and exited from the southern gate and inspected. That is, the DIG went from the entry point of the devotees to the exit point and took information about all the arrangements from the SP. He said that a special eye should be kept on this.

Traffic changes have been made regarding Shravani Mela. Any big vehicle or commercial vehicle going from Madhepura towards Durga Chowk Singheshwar, Gamharia, Pipra and Supaul will be diverted towards the western bypass from near College Chowk. That vehicle will go towards Durga Chowk Singheshwar, Gamharia, Pipra and Supaul via Bhagwat Chowk, Gamharia via Baijnathpur. Other vehicles going from Madhepura towards Singheshwar, Gamharia or Pipra will go towards their destination via Khedan Chowk via Ghailadh. In such a situation, adequate number of police force has been deputed near College Chowk and Khedan Chowk.

At the same time, all the commercial vehicles coming to Madhepura from Supaul, Gamharia will be diverted towards Ghailhad from Bhagwat Chowk itself. They will come towards Madhepura via Ghailhad, Pathraha, Mathahi Chowk. Big vehicles and commercial vehicles coming from Pipra will be stopped near Bahraari barrier. They can go towards Saharsa via Supaul. Small and big private vehicles can turn towards Gamharia from Durga Chowk and come to Madhepura via Bhagwat Chowk, Ghailhad. The vehicles in which the devotees will come will be stopped before Durga Chowk. From where the devotees will come to the temple on foot.
