Supreme Court Hearing: The Supreme Court on Monday heard the case of podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia on Monday (March 03, 2025). The Supreme Court made strict comments giving Ranveer Allahabad to telecast the ‘The Ranveer Show’.
The country’s largest court gave strict warnings, saying, ‘We know how to deal with the youth who think that we are old’. The Supreme Court also gave Allahabadia interim protection from arrest till further orders. However, he has been instructed to join the investigation in Guwahati.

During the hearing, Justice Suryakant said that one of the accused (time Raina) was in Canada and spoke on the matter. Justice Suryakanth gave a strict warning without naming (time Raina), saying, ‘These youth think that we are old but we know how to deal with them. Never take the court lightly ‘.
‘Fundamental rights are not easily available’
The Supreme Court told Abhinav Chandrachud, son of former Chief Justice DY Chandrachud of the country and senior advocate, “Fundamental rights are not easily found and come with some restrictions. After this, the court stopped Ranveer Allahabadia from speaking anything related to this case in his show. Justice Suryakant said, ‘Ethical standards may vary in society. Even though we have been given guarantee of our rights in the constitution, they are also subject to certain conditions’. Ranveer Allahabadia’s case is fighting Abhinav Chandrachud, son of former CJI.
‘Podcast Allahabadia’s only means of earnings’
During the hearing of the entire case, the Supreme Court bench also noted the argument of Abhinav Chandrachud that Podcast Ranveer was the only source of livelihood of Allahabadia and about 280 people had employment. The court said that this problem is not only limited to the age group, the show can be any audience. If he (Ranveer Allahabadia) wants to run the show according to the rules, then we are giving permission. As he said that the employment of more than 200 people is at stake.
‘No talent to use dirty language’
The bench allowed the show to be broadcast according to the rules of maintaining morality and decency and said that the show should be suitable for people of all ages. The bench said, ‘We do not want any regulatory system that leads to censorship but it cannot be free for everyone. They also have to see the quality of humor because humor is something that the whole family can enjoy. No one should feel embarrassed by this. It is not talent to use dirty language ‘.
