With time scammers have abandoned the old ways and are adopting new tactics. If you work in a company then you need to be careful. We are saying this because a user has shared a post on Twitter in which the scammer pretending to be the CEO of the company thought of cheating the person. Know what happened then.

Asking for money for a gift by saying CEO

A user named Shikhar Saxena posted on Twitter that he received a message from an unknown number and the person described himself as the CEO of Meesho. The profile picture of this number was of the CEO of Meesho itself. Actually, Shikhar Saxena is also an employee of Meesho and by taking advantage of this the scammer was thinking of looting money from him. The scammer told Shikhar Saxena that he is the CEO of Meesho and was busy in a meeting with a client. Can you book a gift for a client on My Wife? As soon as Shikhar saw this message, he understood that it is a kind of scam message. He immediately posted it on social media and stopped responding to the scammer.

This is not the first case where a scammer has described himself as the CEO of a company. Earlier also a scammer had tried to loot money from a person by posing as the CEO of Snapdeal. This incident has been shared by the CEO of Snapdeal himself on Twitter.
