Scientist has recently done a research on health workers, patients and the population of some parts of South Asia. In which an attempt was made to know from them that how this epidemic has affected the minds of the people? The most surprising thing came out in this research that after the coronavirus, health workers around the world are going through a strange kind of mental problem.

Survey of National Cheng Kung University

The team of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) conducted this special survey. In which it was found that the lockdown was imposed to stop the coronavirus. Because of that, there has been a profound impact on the lifestyle of the people. Because of all this, the social behavior of the people has also been affected to some extent. The epidemic has made a special impact on people’s mind and society. This survey has been done on workers and patients working in Taiwan’s Health Department. In this, these issues were talked about what was the state of mind of the people during the coronavirus. How the society went through the crisis and how people were scared about the security.

Published report in Frontiers in Medicine

The fear of Kovid-19 was more among the people of Hong Kong. This entire research has been published in Frontiers in Medicine. Taiwan’s patients and health workers rank higher than those in Hong Kong. However, health workers in Taiwan showed less fear of COVID-19 than people in other groups. Dr. Chung-Ying Lin, lead author of the research, said, ‘We compared psychological distress and safety behavior among 192, 500 Taiwanese healthcare workers and 1,067 people in Hong Kong.’

An inverse relationship was observed with respect to adherence to protective behaviours. Which will reduce the chances of infection of Kovid-19.” Patients coming from outside Taiwan followed more safety rules than Hong Kong people.
