Why is Scindia School so famous?

The ‘Scindia School’ located in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh was established in 1897 by Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia (I). It is a boy boarding school. Scindia School is built in a 1000 year old Fort in Gwalior. In this school, you can take admission in 6th, 7th and 8th classes. Students’ age should be between 11 and 13 years. But when the seat is vacant, meritorious students can also get admission in 9th and 11th classes.

What is admission process?

Students are admitted through two Aptitude Test – Common Aptitude Test (CAA) and Scindia School Aptitude Assessment (SAA) at Scindia School. Aptitude assessment includes maths, English, Hindi/general awareness. The CAA takes place on the third Saturday of November for the session starting from July every year. While the SAA is held every year in January/February.

The students who are shortlisted after the Common Aptitude Test (CAA) and Scindia School Aptitude Assessment (SAA) are called for interactive sessions with sports, co-kernel activities and faculty in school. In this phase, students and their parents experience Scindian life. Caa The final result of this is usually declared by 20 January and the final result of SAA by 15 April.

This is the fee structure

If someone wants to take a foreign student admission in Scindia School, then he has to pay an annual fee of Rs 15,30,700. Indian students have to deposit Rs 5 lakh as admission fee. After this, 8.25 lakh rupees have to be deposited as school fees, which are non-refundable. In this way, students have to pay total annual fees at Rs 13.25 lakh. At the same time, annual fees for the children of Indian Security Force employees are Rs 8.50 lakh.
