Expansion
The second phase of the timetable of PurvaDasham and Post-Dasham scholarship schemes for Other Backward Class (OBC) students in UP has been started. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap said that the second phase of scholarship schemes has been released for students of classes 9 to 12 and other higher classes in the state.
According to the timetable of the second phase, all educational institutions will be included in the master data by December 31. After this, verification of fees will be completed by the university and affiliated agencies and district school inspectors by January 5.
Under this scheme, applications for Pre-10th Scholarship for class 9-10 students and Post-10th Scholarship for class 11-12 students can be made till January 15. After this, instructions have been given to the educational institutions to verify and forward the applications of the students till January 18.
