The dead body of a semi-nude girl was seen in a well in Jaithra town of Etah on Sunday. Local people informed the police. After which Jaithra police station, field unit, SOG team and fire brigade team also reached. Injuries were also found on the girl’s body and her face was disfigured. It is suspected that after raping, she was murdered and the body was thrown into the well. Could not be identified.
Some passers-by saw a dead body lying in a well near Chaudhary Laturi Singh Girls Inter College in Jaithra police station and town on Sunday. After which he called 112 and informed the police about the matter. As soon as the information was received, the police station also reached the spot. Along with this, field unit, SOG team, fire fighting team also reached. The body was taken out with the help of stairs from a well about 40 feet deep. It has been kept in the mortuary for identification.
The unknown girl had only a few clothes on her body. There are many injury marks on the body. Along with this, the face has been distorted by some heavy object. There is a garden nearby where a lehenga-like garment has also been found. Looking at the condition of the girl, it is suspected that she was raped and then murdered. The body has been thrown into the well to hide the identity and evidence. Police station in-charge Rajkumar Singh said that the body of the girl has not been identified. The body has been kept in the mortuary of the medical college. Post mortem will be conducted after the stipulated 72 hours.
