Sepsis is a type of blood infection called septicemia. This infection is very dangerous. To deal with this infection, chemicals that dissolve in the blood cause irritation and swelling in the entire body, this is called sepsis. Due to this, many types of changes occur in the body. Due to this, many organs of the body are damaged. Due to which those organs gradually stop working. According to the Lancet report, researchers from Washington University in Seattle, America, examined medical reports of 195 countries. During this, they explained the death of 10.9 crore people. Researchers said that out of this, 1.1 crore people died due to sepsis.
Symptoms of Sepsis
It is very difficult to detect the early symptoms of sepsis. Apart from this, there are some signs. Identify the symptoms of sepsis like this.
Causes of Sepsis
Immunity means the immune system of a body becomes weak. Due to this, external diseases do not attack the body. During sepsis, it malfunctions due to under-reaction or over-reaction. Due to sepsis, the risk of bacterial infection increases a lot. But it is caused by many other infections. It can happen in any part of the body. Sepsis can also happen due to minor injury and scratches. Many people suffer from serious diseases like pneumonia, urinary tract infection, appendicitis and meningitis. Due to this, the risk of sepsis increases. Sepsis can be caused by catheters, surgical incisions, ulcers and bacteria.
Sepsis can be caused by any infection. But some types of infection have a higher risk of developing sepsis, including pneumonia, abdominal infections, kidney infections, and blood poisoning. Symptoms of sepsis include: fever or hypothermia shaking or chills hot or clammy/sweaty skin confusion or restlessness hyperventilation (rapid breathing) or shortness of breath extreme pain or discomfort rash urinary problems low energy fast heart rate. Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency caused by your body’s overreaction to an infection.

Sepsis patient’s immunity becomes weak
Sepsis is your body’s excessive response to an infection. When you have an infection, your immune system tries to fight it. But sometimes your immune system stops fighting the infection and starts damaging your normal tissues and organs, causing widespread inflammation throughout your body. An abnormal chain reaction in your clotting system can cause blood clots to form in your blood vessels. This reduces blood flow to various organs in your body and can lead to significant damage or even failure.
