There is mourning in the entire village due to the death of seven people of the same family living in Riga area of Sitamarhi district. When seven dead bodies reached the village together, everyone was stunned. Mourning silence spread throughout the village. There was only one thing on everyone’s lips that God should not do such a disaster to anyone. Public representatives and villagers have gathered in large numbers to console the family members. Family member Bajrangi Sharma cremated his father, brother and wife. Whereas younger cousin Rishu along with his father lit the funeral pyre for his brother and nephew.
28 people were needed to shoulder seven dead bodies.
Preparations were made till late night in the crematorium to burn the dead body. The family has lost its senses. People are not even able to understand who will burn whom. Only two people are left in the family to offer funeral pyre. At the same time, 28 people were needed to shoulder these seven dead bodies. But, there are not so many family members. In such a situation, the people of the village came forward and stood with the family. The villagers shouldered the bier. All the dead bodies were cremated in the crematorium near Bakhri village adjacent to Riga Mill Square. Earlier on Sunday night, the work was done by the villagers using JCB. So that, there is no problem in cremating all the dead bodies together.
