If you follow some examples, breast density is more dangerous than family history for cancer. It has been said in the study that the risk of breast cancer is 1.2 to 4.0 times higher in women with more heavy breasts. While the risk of cancer associated with family history is 2.0 times higher.

Breast density changes over time

The density of the breast varies with time. Women who are young, pregnant and lactating, those taking hormone replacement therapy or suffering from low body weight are more likely to have increased breast density. A study by the National Library of Medicine found that about 40-50 percent of women who undergo screening mammography reported having increased breast density. Medical experts recommend that people can reduce the chances of this risk by managing their weight, avoiding hormonal medication and alcohol.
