Severe earthquake hits Japan, intensity of 6 on Richter scale


Earthquake in Japan: Japan has been shaken once again by a strong earthquake. Its intensity has been measured at 6.00 on the Richter scale. It is being told that this natural disaster occurred at 8.44 pm Indian time. Its center was in the north-east area, about 208 km away from Tokyo, the capital of Japan. According to the report of the National Center for Seismology, its tremors have been measured to a depth of about 68 km.

There has been no damage to life or property

At present, there is no information regarding any loss of life or property in this natural disaster. Earlier in the beginning of the year, on January 15, an earthquake of 7.5 magnitude shook the whole of Japan. The situation was such that in this natural disaster, at many places the ground had risen several feet above its place.

Some video of this natural phenomenon was revealed. In this, the raised areas were shown amid massive devastation. Before this incident, some of their coastal areas had shifted more than 800 feet in the earthquake on January 1, 2024.

Satellite images showed that after the earthquake, part of the sea shore had risen slightly. The sea water had gone backwards after this incident.
