Devdas’s family insults Paro’s mother Sumitra (Kirron Kher) and throws her out of the house.
In revenge, she gets Paro married to a big landlord (Thakur Bhuvan Chaudhary) from another village who is twice Paro’s age. In memory of Paro, Devdas becomes an alcoholic and Chandramukhi (Madhuri Dixit) gives him support but he drinks so much in his pain that in the end something very bad happens to him.
