Shah Rukh and Salman Khan: Watching Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan together on screen is no less than a treat. Whenever the two come together, fans get excited. Salman and Shahrukh Khan were seen together in the 1995 film Karan Arjun. It was a blockbuster film. Shahrukh Khan shared an anecdote related to this film. Actually, Mamta scolded him during the shooting of the song of the film.
Old seasons of Big Boss Shahrukh Khan And Kajol had arrived. At that time he had said- ‘I and Salman had done Karan Arjun together. We had a co-actress Mamta Kulkarni in the film. Kajol was also in the film. Mamta was opposite Salman and Kajol was in the role opposite me.’
When Mamta Kulkarni scolded me
Shahrukh further said, ‘We had a song together ‘Bhangra Pa Le’. I think hardly anyone has scolded Salman and me. But he scolded us. We were dancing. There was a step. The director said OK. Then Salman and I stood aside. But Mamta did not like it. She thought our steps were very bad. We ruined the song. Salman and I were standing together, so she called us with a gesture.’
‘At first we didn’t understand who she was talking to, then Salman said she was calling you. I went within my decency. She told us very clearly that you guys should come after rehearsing. I am doing the steps correctly and you guys are doing it very badly. And we thought that we are the best. But we were insulted after that. Then we used to stay awake at night and rehearse everyday. Then when we did that step for the first time, we did it right and they did it wrong.’
