Shahid Afridi On Asia Cup Controversy Said ICC Not Be Able To Do Anything In Front Of BCCI | Pakistan legend spoke on Asia Cup controversy

Shahid Afridi On Asia Cup Controversy: The confusion as to which city will be the host of this year’s Asia Cup does not seem to end. Pakistan is the official host of the 2023 Asia Cup. Last year, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah, who is also the President of the Asian Cricket Council, had said that India will not go to Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup. Recently the latest venue of the Asia Cup has been postponed in the ACC meeting. At the same time, Team India’s star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin gave his opinion on this subject. Ashwin says that if the Indian team refuses to travel to his country for the Asia Cup, then it is not possible for Pakistan to skip the ODI World Cup to be played in India.

it is not possible to miss the world cup

Ashwin said on his official YouTube channel, Asia Cup was to be held in Pakistan. But India has already announced that if Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan then we will not go there. When we say that the Asia Cup will not be held in their place, they say that we too will not go to India. Ashwin further said that it is not possible for him to miss an important tournament like the World Cup.

India does not have this courage

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi recently gave his reaction on R Ashwin’s statement. Talking to Sama TV, he said, if someone is unable to stand on his feet then it is not easy to take strong decisions. He has to see many things. India has made itself so strong that’s why it is showing its eyes. Otherwise, he would not have had the courage to say so.

Shahid Afridi further said, I have no idea whether India will come to Pakistan to play in the Asia Cup. Will we boycott the 50 over World Cup to be played in India? But we need to decide on some points. The role of ICC is important in this matter. He should come forward. But I believe that even ICC will not be able to do anything in front of BCCI.
