Why did Shahid Kapoor reject ‘Rang De Basanti’?
Actor Shahid Kapoor also appeared in an episode of Neha Dhupia’s talk show. There he told that he was offered the role of Karan Singhania which was later played by Siddharth. Shahid had told that at that time he was shooting for some other film, hence he refused the role of Karan Singhania in the film ‘Rang De Basanti’. But when he read the script, he cried, he liked it so much that later there was nothing but regret. He was sad that if he had taken out time, he would have been a part of this great film.
Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Atul Kulkarni, Soha Ali Khan, Sharman Joshi, R Madhavan and Kunal Kapoor were seen in important roles in Omprakash Mehra’s film Rang De Basanti. This film proved to be a blockbuster. Now if we talk about Shahid Kapoor, his film Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released on 9th February which was successful at the box office. Now his next film will be Deva which will be released on 11 October 2024.
