Sharad Kelkar, born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has completed his journey to success in a small town Mumbai with a lot of struggles. Sharad Kelkar, who did MBA in Marketing, had his mind set on acting, so he decided to move ahead here. Sharad Kelkar started his career from the small screen of TV.
Sharad Kelkar started his acting career through Doordarshan’s serial ‘Aakrosh’. After this, he made his mark in every household by playing powerful characters in dozens of TV serials including ‘Bhabhi’, ‘Raat Hone Ko Hai’, ‘CID’ and ‘Uttaran’.
In the year 2004, he managed to reach the big screen with a cameo role in the film ‘Hulchal’. After this, along with acting, he also started working in dubbing.
After this, he also proved his strong acting through films and web series like ‘Tanhaji’, ‘The Family Man’, ‘Lakshmi’.
Very few people would know that Sharad Kelkar stammered in his childhood. Actually, he was suffering from speech disorder since childhood, but Sharad not only overcame it but also achieved mastery in Bollywood in a powerful manner through his voice.
Sharad himself had once told about his problems. He said that I used to stammer. For this reason acting was a very big thing for me. I used to get rejected because of stammering. Today Sharad Kelkar charges a hefty fee for every film and project.
But there was a time when his bank account was completely empty and the burden of debt was also on his head. But today, according to some reports, his net worth is between seventy to eighty crore rupees. Besides, he is also the owner of many luxury cars and a luxurious house in Mumbai.
