Abhishek Nigam On Replacing Sheezan Khan: Sheejan Khan is in judicial custody after the death of Tunisha Sharma. There are many allegations against him including abetting Tunisha to commit suicide. In such a situation, Sheejan Khan was removed from SAB TV’s serial ‘Ali Baba Dastan-e-Kabul’. Sheejan has been replaced by Abhishek Nigam in the show. On the other hand, Abhishek talked about replacing Sheejan and said that he had his hopes about the casting offer, although he did not find any concrete reason to say no to it.
The shooting was halted for some time after Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the sets of the show. After this the name of the show was also changed and instead of ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’ it was ‘Ali Baba: Ek Andaz Undekha Chapter 2’. The shooting of this show has been resumed last month. Talking about the show offer in an interview to Times of India, Abhishek said, “Of course, there were apprehensions. Even if it is a regular role, the pros and cons of the offer are considered. I consulted everyone and realized that I had no reason to say no to the offer. Things have been unfortunate, but we make shows with a lot of love and hard work. There is no human hand behind this, many people do hard work. I moved forward with this spirit. The previous main pair has done an amazing job. I realized that I would have to put in a lot of effort to play this character and I dived into it with that determination. I am sure our dedication will pay off.
What did Abhishek say on being compared to Sheezan
“Despite the nature of replacement it is normal for the audience to find it difficult to warm up to a new face but if you are diligent and portray the character with conviction you will strike a chord with the audience. Our Idea Show A new vision has been adopted for the film. However, the original spirit has been retained. My character is different from the previous one. It is more energetic and strange.”
Tunisha committed suicide on 24 December
Please tell that Tunisha and Sheezan were in a relationship and according to reports, they had a breakup just a few days before Tunisha’s death. Tunisha committed suicide on 24 December. Last month, the Vasai court had sent Sheejan to judicial custody for 14 days.
