Shia Waqf Board will compensate the loss from Masjid Committee Chairman Dilawar Hussain and Secretary Syed Parvez Hussain, who were found guilty in the investigation of construction of shops and extortion of money in their allotments in Khajurwali Mosque of Ayodhya. After receiving the investigation report, Board Chairman Ali Zaidi has sent a letter to the District Magistrate and Police Commissioner of Ayodhya demanding sealing of five shops of the Waqf Mosque and legal action by registering a case against the Chairman and Secretary of the Committee.
Shia Waqf Board Chairman Ali Zaidi had received a complaint that Ayodhya’s Waqf Masjid Khajoor Wali Committee Chairman Dilawar Hussain and Secretary Syed Parvez Hussain constructed shops on the Waqf property and collected money from their allotments without the permission of the board. Apart from this, there was also an allegation of misusing the compensation money received from the government and demanding illegal recovery in the name of the Board, allotting the shops to relatives against the Waqf Act and depositing the money in their savings accounts.
After receiving the complaint, the Chairman of the Waqf Board had ordered an investigation into the entire matter. Ali Zaidi said that the Waqf Board inspector has completed the on-site investigation and submitted his report to the board office. He said that on the basis of the investigation report, the Board has written a letter to the District Magistrate and Police Commissioner of Ayodhya to take strict legal action and register a case against the culprits. Apart from this, Ayodhya Development Authority has been asked to seal the shops. He told that the loss caused to the Waqf Masjid will be recovered by getting the RC of the President and Secretary canceled.
