Patna. Maa Sheetla Temple located at Agamkuan in the capital Patna contains many miracles and mysteries in itself. It is said that it is related to the Chakravarti emperor Ashoka of the Maurya period. However, the priest of the temple, Munna Malakar says that those things are not authentic.

Please tell that many religious beliefs are associated with this well. People claim that many diseases are cured by the water of this well. The priests of the temple also tell that the water here never dries up. The reason behind this is that this well is connected to Ganga Sagar in West Bengal.
The priest of the temple, Munna Malakar, tells that once the stick of a person who fell in the Ganga Sagar was found floating in this well. That stick is still kept in the Kolkata Museum.

Devotees talk about the cure of chicken pox in Sheetla temple. Tell that people believe that the temple here has miraculous powers to cure diseases like smallpox, Angar Mata and Mata Maiya. It is believed that many diseases are cured by using the water of this well, along with it, the sunken lap also gets filled.
