Anil Sareen, general secretary of the BJP’s Punjab unit, said Mann is not only the chief minister of the state but also holds the home portfolio. He alleged that ever since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government came to power in Punjab, the law and order situation in the state has gone from bad to worse.

The BJP leader claimed, “There has been an increase in cases of murder and robbery and activities of gangsters. As a result, a feeling of insecurity has developed among the people.” Sareen said that the Punjab government has proved to be a ‘complete failure’ on the law and order front. He said that in such a situation, the Chief Minister should take moral responsibility for such incidents and resign.
