The wife of the deceased has filed a case in the case of death of a person resident of village Nagla Gajua of Mursan area after being hit by a train on the evening of 13 May. The woman has accused her son’s in-laws of beating her husband and instigating him to commit suicide.
Guddi’s wife Shiv Singh says that their son Dhirendra Singh is posted in the Air Service. She was married on 23 November last year to Charu Choudhary, daughter of Pawanveer, resident of Ashirwad Vatika, Mathura Road, Hathras. It is alleged that the daughter-in-law is of a quarrelsome nature. Complaints about this were made to the parents many times. On April 22, daughter-in-law Charu reached Hathras with uncle Rohit after a fight. When his son Dhirendra came on leave, he along with his father Shiv Singh reached his in-laws’ house on the afternoon of 12th May to pick up his wife. Present there were Manju Devi wife Pawanveer, Rohit, Ajit son Jagveer, Harendra son Namaloom, Upadesh Devi wife Harendra, Luv son Harendra. It is alleged that when Guddi’s son and husband asked these people to send Charu, everyone unanimously told the son to bring his mother first.
When Dhirendra reached there with him, he saw that everyone was abusing his husband and his daughter-in-law Charu, her mother Manju and aunt Upadesh were beating him with slippers. He forcibly sent his daughter with us. After sending you home, he threatened you that if you did not behave properly with Charu, he would file a false rape case against you and send you to jail. Since that day, her husband was upset and on the evening of 13th May, he committed suicide by jumping from a train near the Collectorate. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
