Amit Shah on UCC: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has once again said something big regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He has said that if BJP wins at the Center for the third consecutive time, it will implement this law in the entire country. He says that there are no personal laws in any democratic country.

In an interview to India Today TV, Amit Shah said, “Should the country be run on the basis of Sharia, on the basis of personal law?” No country has ever run like this. There is no personal law in any democratic country. Why in the world is this so?”

UCC is also promised in BJP’s resolution letter.

Congress is not afraid of polarization, it is indulging in it. Because of vote bank politics, Congress It has failed to fulfill the promises made.”

This law has been implemented in Uttarakhand

Amit Shah said that after the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, this law will be debated from social, judicial and parliamentary viewpoint. After independence, Uttarakhand has become the first state to implement Uniform Civil Code.
